So, I sent my complaint to Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman about a complaint about a social worker and how Essex County Council Social Services dealt with my complaints. The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman is supposed to be independent and carry out their own investigations. Instead they call the local council they are guided by what they say (old boys club) then reply with exactly what they have told them.

My issue is my complaint is about the social worker and the way Essex County Council have handled my case, but yet for some reason everyone blames the court. So, basically what we are being told is we have to take out civil court case on the individual Social Workers. This is new to me I have never heard this one before but apparently you can’t make complaints against social workers even when you have evidence of malpractice.
